Office PDF Tool 1.0.0 - Windows portable edition

Requirements
  Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit x64.
Microsoft Word desktop for Word documents.
Microsoft PowerPoint desktop for PowerPoint presentations.
Office must be activated and usable in your Windows desktop session.
No Adobe Acrobat, separate .NET installation, or developer tools are needed.

Start
Extract the entire ZIP to a folder you can access.
  Open Gui and double-click OfficePdfTool.Gui.exe.
Keep all files and folders together. Do not run it from inside the ZIP.
Close PowerPoint before starting a PowerPoint conversion.

Create a PDF
  1. Browse for a Word (.docx) or PowerPoint (.pptx) file.
  2. Choose Word PDF, normal slides, A4 2-up portrait, or A4 4-up landscape.
  3. Choose an output PDF location, then click Create PDF.
  4. Wait for the final result. Use Open PDF to review before printing.
Existing output is protected unless you select Overwrite existing output.
Your original document is never saved or modified by this tool.

Fonts and results
Exact installed fonts are embedded automatically when safely permitted.
When necessary, unresolved fonts may be replaced in a temporary Office copy.
Proven incompatible characters may use Cambria or Cambria Math.
PASS: every final font passes strict embedding checks.
PASS WITH FONT SUBSTITUTION: the same checks passed; some fonts changed.
FAIL: the PDF is not accepted. A retained diagnostic PDF is not print-ready.
The font table and Details explain repairs, substitutions and failures.
Word and PowerPoint native export alone do not guarantee font embedding.

Diagnostics
Details shows Office, font and temporary-folder diagnostics.
Keep temporary files for diagnostics retains failed runs and successful
runs that changed fonts or supported previews in a private Office copy.
Temporary files use your Windows temporary folder under OfficePdfTool.
Normal runs clean up automatically. Retained copies can contain document
content; remove the reported temporary folder when you finish diagnosing.

Limitations
Windows desktop Office is required; no virtual printer is installed.
Substitution or preview changes can affect appearance. Review the PDF.
Some legacy equation/diagram previews remain unsupported and can fail.
Original outlined/image text does not become searchable text.
Full font embedding can make PDFs larger. No font files are bundled.
No booklet, arbitrary N-up editor, installer, or automatic updater.
This release was tested on Windows 11; Windows 10 validation is pending.

Optional command line
  Cli\officepdf.exe word input.docx -o output.pdf
