    • Development of general registration toolkit for CenSSIS (Center for Subsurface Sensing and Imaging Systems) for research in diverse disciplines.
    • Integration of the registration toolkit with ITK (Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit).
    • Assisting in teaching a course on registration in Fall 2004, and educating the collaborator of the CenSSIS on the registration toolkit.
    • Research on real-time retinal image registration for laser surgery.
    • Monitoring the development of the web-site for the Retina Project.

    • Retina project on automatic retinal image analysis for clinical trials, mass screening, monitoring progress of disease and effect of treatment, and surgical and diagnostic procedures.

    • Involving a broad study on ophthalmology, and related medical applications.
    • Thesis work on Dual-Bootstrap Retinal Image Registration handling images with spatial and temporal changes, with success rate of 99.5%.
