Face Image Recognition

Abstract
Face recognition has attracted attention from academia and industry in the past ten years,
specially after the emergence of terrorism There have been many successful applications of
this technology in practice. However, the general face image recognition problem is extremely
difficult. In this talk, I will discuss the state of the art of the face recognition technology.
Some representative approaches to the face recognition problem will be discussed.
In addition, I will present some researches related to face recognition conducted in the
NTHU computer vision lab.
